Hi! My name is Jessica and this is where I love to share about this crazy adventure called motherhood, raising lots of little ones with my husband in the St. Louis area. I’m a cancer survivor, Christ follower, homeschool mom (you can read about how we homeschool here), and major ice cream lover.
A little backstory: In 2002, when I was 14, I was diagnosed with a terminal cancer called Alveolar Rhabdomysarcoma. It nearly took my life. After a year and a half of chemo (along with surgeries and radiation) I was diagnosed cancer free! That’s a shortened version. But if you want to read more about it, you can check out these posts.
I met my husband, Don, at the end of 2005, we were engaged at the end of 2006, and married in September 2007 at the ages of 19 (me) and 22 (him.) Soon after, we started popping out babies, one after the other. We have Liam (9,) Kai (7,) Kingston (5,) Evangeline (4,) Desmond (2,) and Clementine (who joined us in October!)
Yes, our hands are full but we wouldn’t change it for anything! I love to share about the joys and struggles of motherhood, always keeping it real. Thanks for reading along!
Also, you may have noticed that there are a lot of pictures on my blog. I love taking pictures of my family!
